The Creative TravelDock 900 gives you 32 hours of rock 'n roll from a quartet of AAA batteries, and when you're done you can tuck all that musicmaking away in a little travel pouch. Too bad you can't directly connect your iPod to this nicely-designed speaker pod, but you can plug in via a 3.5mm jack and you're off and rocking in minutes. Its two one-inch titanium speakers are driven by 2 watts per channel—not enough to rock the house, but it probably sounds better than that tiny speaker on your laptop. Not a bad deal for $100.
