With hurricane season quickly drawing closer, disaster preparedness will be something not overlooked. Assemble Communications has launched a $5,000 digital connectivity hurricane kit. This kit will include a battery powered handset with satellite antenna and cables to connect to a computer. All of which is housed in a water-tight suitcase to prevent any kind of damage. The kit includes 400 minutes of prepaid talk-time and 150MB of internet access. For those bargain shoppers other satellite phones can run as low as $700, CNN reports. – Travis Hudson
