So, does size really matter? No, according to all of my ex-girlfriends, but they were probably just being nice. I'm going to also vote no to this portable media player from Axes. It has a blisteringly large 100GB internal hard drive in addition to expansion for Compact Flash, SD, MMC, Micro and all of the Sony memory sticks.

While the large hard drive is nice and all, this PMP is still killed by the lack of wide support for video playback and somewhat mediocre screen specs. For video it only supports AVI, MOV, MPEG-1 and 4. What, no DivX, Xvid or WMV? It has a 3.5-inch TFT LCD screen that supports a 320 x 240 resolution. It does include an FM tuner, line-in, microphone-in and TV-out, which is pretty nice. Should be available next week in Japan for $610.  Travis Hudson
