No, that's not an iBook, but a "Prime A Note Cressida 64TW." If the name doesn't clue you in, it's an ultra portable notebook computer from Japan, land of super happy fun quirkiness. Obviously, the best thing it's got going for it is its size: it weighs only four pounds, making it light enough to easily carry from lecture hall to lecture hall while dodging bullies. Since it's of the ultra portable variety, don't expect the specs to leave your jaw on the floor: a 1.6GHz AMD Turion MT-30 crunches the numbers and a 60GB hard drive provides just enough space to hold a decent-sized digital music library. There's also the usual smattering of USB 2.0 ports, integrated memory card reader and built-in Wi-Fi.
The Prime A Note Cressida 64TW will launch in Japan on July 29 for the Prime A price of $1049.
