SCIA to Ken Kutaragi: You're Fired!

Well, you knew it was gonna happen sooner or later. Ken Kutaragi, grandpappy of the PlayStation, has been forced to step down by Sony from his position as president of Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. Taking the blame for the PS3 launch delays and craptastic PSP sales, Kenny boy has held up his last gigantic console.

He won't be seen at Tokyo soup kitchens anytime soon, though, as he'll stay on as Chairman and Group CEO. Kaz Hirai, the head of SCEI's US division, will take over for Kuraragi. We'll see if this actually has any effect on how Sony handles their gaming division.
