Everyone knows that after a substantial amount of use, laptop batteries are destined for failure, but hold your horses before clicking the "Buy" link on a new $100-plus laptop battery. Jay picked up some OEM lithium-ion batteries and decided to replace it himself. In the end Jay only ended up saving $50 or $60 bucks replacing the batteries himself compared to the official batteries, but this is one hell of a story for a grandkids, right?
