Apple Store Is Down, Down, Down

As expected. They'll be back soon, like always. I sense a ~~strong~~ weak disturbance in the Force. Maybe updated MacBooks or iPhones or USB-powered cocktail shakers. Or something like that. Update: It's the iPhone 16GB and iPod Touch 32GB.

errr... just so you know, the French Apple Store isn't closed at all. Maybe they're just late closing it in France. Hope to see something new... Maybe a little cut in the macbook prices ! :)

I think they are going to release the new iHorn. It is just a air horn that goes off every five minutes so that people know that you are using a Macbook Air while you chug your venti double stuff no-whip carmel sugar ameramachiato.

Hope something like the new AppleTV software or an iPod Touch with more storage is going to be released. The rest, which is more likely (iPhone w more memory or new MBP) doesn't, unfortunately, interest me. I own an Apple TV and have a relative travelling to the US, where she will purchase an iPod Touch. So I'd like them to be refreshed.

Guess I'll see in a matter of minutes whether to be happy or not...

MBP is not an option until Apple refreshes their design which, in my opinion is old now (or, better said, too many MBP with the same look have been sold, so it is less exclusive, so to speak)

Guys...

Its the new iPhone 16gb. I bought an iPhone Saturday, and had edge problems, so took it back to O2. Been reading rumours about a 16gb, so of course I asked them. The manager unofficial told me she couldn't talk about it, but if I come back at 1330(the announcement time!) I can swap my broken iPhone for what she described(and winked)

A better one.

Whats killing me is, since the store is down, I can't check my account which has the tracking number for the iMac I ordered. As of early this morning FedEx hadn't updated the status for *3 whole days*.

When the pink ipods arrived some weeks ago, only the american store was taken down. However, this was still a product update for the whole world, and was made available on my local (norway) store shortly after.

Apparantly, Apple can add products to their sortiment without pausing the whole store..
