Apple's confirmed with us that Time Capsules are indeed shipping, meaning that you'll be backing your Macs up wirelessly with Time Machine soon. And by soon, that probably means next week, since they're only heading out of China this week. [Apple]

I ordered a while ago and my shipment date is tomorrow. Still no update in my account. Guess I am unlucky. Cant wait to time machine wirelessly.
i ordered mine like 2 weeks ago, i wish it would hurry up already.
I still think it sucks that they didn't equip this with AirTunes. I could replace THREE devices in my living room if they did!
time capsule mime shmapsule
I still need to set up a Wi-Fi network in my home. I keep putting it off....
Still don't get the point of this thing.
@Xenocide: It's pretty simple.
Network attached storage. It comes with a built in disk, and you can plug additional disk into its USB port. Additionally, it will magically work with Time Machine on all your 10.5 Macs. Not sure what extra magic it has that any other NAS doesn't, but you aren't going to have to dork about making it work.
802.11n access point. Again, pretty much guaranteed to work with all your other Apple 802.11n stuff; something you can't say for a random Buffalo AP.
NAT router. So you can chuck the dusty Linksys you have plugged into your DSL modem.
USB print server. So you can share your USB printer on your new fabulous wireless network. Or chuck the MagicTron USB print server you have sitting next to your dusty Linksys router.
Seems pretty spiffy to me. I can't wait to get my grubby hands on one.
Waiting for mine. This machine is the first of it's kind. 299$ for a 500GB 2.5in drive, a/b/g/n Wifi/rj45 router, for me it's the best news that came out of last Apple expo :-) *Windows compatible too!
If Time Capsule had included a DSL modem that would have been perfection! Seems a shame to have all the things 'matto' mentioned and still have to hook it up to your modem.
Here's hoping for version 2!
