Sure, this soup is great. Yeah, I'm really enjoying it. Aw, crap—the spoon's only gone and tipped the freaking bowl all over my Diesels. Well, not anymore, friends. Please welcome Flavour Design's problem solving bowl, cleverly titled, And the Dish Ran Away With the Spoon. It is so simple it will make you cry about all those embarrassing times you could have easily avoided—a receptacle for the spoon actually built into the bowl. Pure genius. maybe i'm doing it wrong, but i can't say i have ever had a spoon tip over a bowl of soup. how does that happen??
Haroon, dude,
Diesels are so 90s!
You can tell when it is a sunny day in Gizworld...
hmmm...being that I love me some cornflakes in the morning...I have had several lucky charm disasters...and I think this might help out pretty sweet...
Maybe, but I am a big breakfast eater. For my morning cereal I'd need a bowl about four times the volume of this itty-bitty cup. But then I'd also need a spoon just as big and long-handled to match the increased circumference.
Perhaps better for my needs would just be a milk-proof feedbag I could strap to my face. No need for a spoon, no chance of tipping a bowl and possibly a great fashion accessory for my morning jog.
what is a "tipping bowl?" I don't get it.
You guys just need manlier bowls...or possibly a lighter spoon? I can safely say I've never encountered this dilemma.
The bowls only tip because Honey Comb's BIG! (The stupid robot isn't much help either.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDZK6H3d5bk
It's all coming to sad times!
*glee*
@iomatic:
one vote for diesels are still cool.

Its not a matter of voting if Diesels are cool or not. They are quite popular today, probably more so than in the 1990s. Taking a look at Wikipedia, Diesel makes $1.5 Billion worldwide.

"all over my K-Swisses" would've sounded much more horrific.

There is a hashi solution as well.
What the hell kind of bowls are you using that tip over??
@brianhatch: I think he means that the spoon tips over, not the bowl. He should try those new lead weighted spoons from China.

Of course you need to have a tip proof Scotch to go with yer super bowl.

Great, a novelty bowl to go with my diamond shreddies, man they're so much better than the square ones...
maybe thats why I always use an oversized coffee cup for soup?
Neatorama does actually worry about "you'll tip the bowl over", which I agree is silly. But they link to the real source, [www.uncommongoods.com] who notes that the real problem is "the spoon handle falls into your food", which make a little more sense. Still, the bowl is only '3" H x 5" diam', which is awfully small to be worrying about that. And awfully small for the $21 price tag even with the spoon!
You guyses! I never said Diesels were UNcool!!! They're so 90s! The 90s are coming back!
The millenium look will be so in next month, mark my words!
2008 will be retro in late 2008! How postmodern!
meh. Diesels are always cool in my book.
hi! happened upon your site tonight. i'm the designer, enjoyed reading your comments on my latest bowl. "and the dish ran away with the spoon" bowl is really meant for when you are eating soup and you don't know where to put the spoon...voila in the bowl. also good for lounging on the couch or multi-tasking. i made it to hold 16 ounces and it holds any regular teaspoon. always open to new ideas and comments. ps, i still love my diesels...xo elan
Just out of curiosity, why is this worthy of a Nobel peace prize?
Oh, wait, if Yasser Arafat could get one - anything is worthy of that...
Meh, Deisels are never cool in my book, I can find the exact same jeans sans-logo for about a quarter of the price. I can use that saved money to buy bowls with spoon holders.. and of course the diamond shreddies.
