Like most nerds, I am in full Iron Man mode as the movie release date draws closer. So, I couldn't help but get excited after hearing about a PC case mod based on Tony Stark's Mark 1 Iron Man suit. Is it the best case mod I have ever seen? No, not really. In fact, I would have expected a little more from the dude who brought us the Team Fortress II sentry gun mod. Still, I appreciate the hand-crafted look and the 2x BFG 9800GX2 Quad Sli under the hood. At the very least, it is pretty damn cool for a three- week build. Check out the video after the jump.

We all know Tony Stark uses Dell servers. Pfft.
Looks like fake steel.
I thought Tony Stark made the decision to become Iron Man to fight people would make abominations like this.
is that paper mache?
I can't think of anything nice to say...
Materials: B+
Functionality: C-

Overall Grade: Meh. :|
quad sli and ddr3? and he doesnt even bother telling us what kind of processor? this guy just comes across as a tool with too much money. quad sli barely gives better performance than regular sli. the latency on ddr3 is about double that of ddr2 and about triple the price. color me unimpressed.
Fugly. Period.
Needs more Orac-3, less sli, more WMDII.

Lots of nice stuff on the inside... I could do a better job on a pumpkin on the outside.
Let me jump in with a dissenting opinion: I rather liked it, in all it's pre-distressed UV-reactant glory.
Is that the new Apple Mac ?
Now I want to see the laptop version :D
looks like silver paint covering papier-maché and cardboard_
Not impressed for 3 weeks worth of work_
I think these pictures are the other side of the Psystar machine we saw earlier.
@Denver_80203: Thanks. :D
Iron Man?
Looks more like Iron Maiden.
"hideous" says tony stark.
Um, I think it looks more like The Man in the Iron Mask than Iron Man. But I don't have modding skills at all, so who am I to judge?
As far as mods go this is really poor. If it looks like the common man could make it then you have missed the goal.
um. A for the idea, F for the execution.
It's actually quite cool if you look at it through your Tony Stark Whiskey Goggles.
As a project it's not great, I'm sorry.
As something intended to be lived with as an every-day thing it's abysmal and would surely sap your will to live over an extended period of time.
It's just so...inexact...in every conceivable way.
Its like Iron Man * Oscar the Grouch case mod.
Even if Stark uses appears to be using Dell servers, I keep telling myself he just sold out and could never would really use them. Although its hard cause we all know he is a billionaire....
Ok back to thinking happy thoughts the of repulsor rays.
