    Facebook Poke Results In Arrest

Today I'm thankful for many things, including whoever arrested Shannon Jackson for poking someone over Facebook. It may have been over a protection order violation, but I'll be damned if I haven't dreamed of doing worse to Facebook pokers.

Shannon Jackson wasn't stupid enough to forget to log out of Facebook while committing robbery, but she is facing "up to a year in prison and fine of $2,500" over her illegal Facebook poke. It seems like the most harmless manner of breaking a protection order, short of sending smoke signals, so I wonder if the punishment actually fits the crime. [Telegraph]
