Since I'm on night shift tonight, I had the opportunity to wander about Fleet Week this afternoon and now I'm feeling a bit patriotic. So, I'm dedicating tonight's soundtrack to the men and women of the United States Armed Forces.

Dreams was released on Van Halen's 5150 album in 1986, the group's first studio production since Hagar replaced David Lee Roth as the band's front man.

Never mind the fact that Sammy Hagar sings like a cat being bludgeoned with a pillowcase full of tack hammers, just enjoy the brain-meltingly awesome combination of Blue Angel stuntin' and Eddie VH's fretboard-ravaging musical prowess.
