If you were judging math by how Hollywood movies talk about it, you’d wonder why it even exists. Like Nazis and dogfighting, math is universally hated. Just look at this supercut of movies talking about math. Nobody even wants to bother with two plus two!
Who really likes math? Everybody should! Okay fine not everybody. But rejiggering numbers together can do awesome things like tell you how long everything will live, teach you a ridiculously simple magic trick and get you to sort socks in the most efficient way possible.
