A Hilarious Woman Photoshopped Herself Taking Pictures with Her Cell Phone Camera into Old Photographs

The awesome photographer Flora Borsi, who once showed how Photoshop would look like in real life, is up to her awesomely hilarious tricks again. This time, Borsi splices herself taking a picture with a cell phone camera into old photographs. It's a commentary on how ridiculous we look trying to capture every waking moment through our camera's screen. It's fantastic.

Borsi describes her 'Time Travel' photo series:

How would time travel affect life as we know it? Capture the most important events in history, upload to instagram, twitter, facebook? If time travel did indeed become a reality, how would it affect our world as we currently experience it? I imagined how I would to do! My inspiration was a Charlie Chaplin Movie

Even though we have the ability to snap a photo at any given moment, it doesn't mean we always should. Sometimes maybe enjoying it for what it is would be better. Or just take one quick picture and be done with it (being done with it being adding a witty caption to share on Instagram, of course).

It's sort of jarring to see one person take a picture when no one else is (well other than the photographer who captured the original picture, that is). Especially since we're used to seeing a sea of camera phones in any crowd these days. See more of Borsi's work here. [Flora Borsi via PetaPixel]
