An old promoted tweet from Verizon featuring an all-red America is making the rounds again tonight, and boy, people are losing their shit!
Several Twitter users are raging about this map, which was originally sent out on October 13 as a promoted tweet, but reportedly started popping up again tonight:

Given that the we’re all currently furiously chugging whiskey while we wait for the election results to come in, the hair-trigger responses are perhaps understandable.

Don’t worry, everyone. At least the sun will rise tomorrow, unless it spontaneously combusts and puts us all out of our misery.
Update 10:30 pm: Verizon told us in an email that it hasn’t promoted the map since November 1. However, that still hasn’t stopped people from seeing it tonight and thinking the worst!
