    @Rejexted: Probably precisely why they got the DoE grant. An 11x improvement in how much energy you can store per amount of weight greatly improves the outlook on electric vehicles if it can be scaled up.

    Plus... screw rocket motorcycles. How bout an electric one with so much power it throws you into the next state? #gizmodoremainders

    So somehow, in the minds of an analyst, a 234% increase is wiped by a 6% decrease? That's enough to declare it "mixed"?

    Following the writing of this report, the analysts blew $5,000 on hookers and coke. Then they found some spare change under the couch. Their cash flow position for the evening was declared "mixed".

    Looks way to much like the stuff that people were kept in in the matrix though.

    Sounds impressive if they get around the costs. The goal is 11x the energy density of Li-ion for 1/3rd the cost. #gizmodoremainders

    @tande04: Sounds interesting. I'm too lazy to "google around" but I just don't get why they want to make it a liquid. Why not invest in ways to improve our current shitty batteries and their shitty battery lives. #gizmodoremainders

    @macpatrik: I think the liquid part is just how the battery is made. They're not going to add more liquid to charge the battery or anything like that. Just like you don't add more lithium to charge your laptop battery.

    It is the way to improve our shitty batteries' lives. Just like Li-ion is the step up from Ni-Cad, you have to change the material sometimes at the base of the battery to really improve the shitty batteries #gizmodoremainders

    Seriously, the writers at Gizmodo need to read up on the difference between "clip art" and "stock photos". I've seen the Snow Leopard cover called "clip art" so many times it makes me want to cry... I expect better. #windows7art

    @Samiam303: I imagine that calling it clip-art is also meant to disparage the amount of effort that went into designing the Snow Leopard box. "LOL! All they did was just open Word and slap in a pic from the clip art gallery!"

    Looks like another lousy knockoff of an Apple concept except they're blowing their own horn with a Windows logo on it. Not a single Apple desktop image has an Apple logo in it. Why? Mac users don't need to be reminded of the machine they're using. #windows7art

    @RogueWarrior: Goddamn brilliant!!! That MUST be why I never forget that I am using a PC!! Because unlike my MacBook Pro, my PC has windows logos everywhere you look! How stupid could I have been to not see this all along? Do not forget that your Mac has an APPLE logo in the upper left hand of your screen at ALL TIMES, it acts very much like the windows start button. Oh, and don't forget the Mac two-tone face thingy logo that pops up every time you start your macbook and that very same logo is used for your finder icon. #windows7art
