$100 personal video player

Possible vaporware alert: a new startup called Handheld Entertainment is promising to have a $100 personal video player out by the end of the year that will have a full-color screen and use Flash memory cards for storage instead of an internal hard drive. We’d like to say we’re convinced that there’s no way this is going happen (even the picture at right is just an artist’s rendering), but Tiger has a $50 personal video player out aimed at the kids market, so if they cut enough corners, Handheld Entertainment should probably be able to get a cheap player out as well.
