Sony’s latest financial report has projected that the upcoming PSP will ship 3 million units in the first three months of the system’s launch. While the PSP was originally set to have a simultaneous worldwide launch, indications are that the North American and Europe will get their launch in early 2005, while Japan’s launch is still planned for “mid to late December.”
Sony plans to officially unveil the PSP at this year’s E3.
