The best of the bunch is Panasonic’s PT-42PD3P, which they call “the best plasma panel in its category as far as performance is concerned.” What’s really exciting about the PT-42PD3P though is that its retail price, which used to be nearly $6000, has dropped to almost $3500. Could Gateway’s $3000 plasma TV be the reason?
