You know, this whole having a social life thing is not conducive at all to cooking you kids your gadget breakfast. Fortunately for me, Panasonic and Sony have provided some low-hanging fruit this morning with the launch of several new digital cameras, including a really nice looking CyberShot [pictured] with a 7-megapixel sensor. And by “nice looking” I mean “pretty cheap,” as Sony plans to launch the DSC-P150 for less than $500. I was almost going to buy a camera today, but now I may end up waiting a bit.
Panasonic’s 6 new Lumix models look decent, too, with 3.4- to 5-megapixel options and 12x optical zoom on the FZ model line. LivingRoom has a round up page with most of the details, as does Photography Blog.
