Ok, so it looks like Toshiba might not be releasing a $199 Pocket PC. DigiTimes, which originally reported the news, has retracted its story, and is now saying that sources at the company indicate that Toshiba is merely considering making such a move. Hopefully they’ll realize that they’re losing marketshare to Dell and HP and do they’re going to have to do something like this to remain competitive.
