Ice Cream Sandwich is pretty swell, but like all Android updates, it's not on all phones. Well guess what? The HTC Vivid is getting the update on AT&T today and other phones will see the update "in the coming months." Here's the full list:

LG Nitro
Motorola ATRIX 2
Motorola ATRIX 4G
Pantech Burst
Pantech Element
Samsung Captivate Glide
Samsung Galaxy Note
Samsung Galaxy S II
Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9

The Vivid is the first non-Galaxy phone that pre-dates ICS to get the upgrade. So if you've got another handset that falls into that category, the official update might be getting close for you. [AT&T]

Y'know, I bought a Nexus S because it was supposed to get OS updates quickly. Where's my ICS update? I might've bought a different phone if I knew the phone was going to be months behind anyway. I probably would've have purchased an Xperia Play, actually. Physical buttons for playing games was really tempting.
