Once the dead rise, we’ll be in need of practical dwellings to hold the zombie throngs at bay. Enter the SS Huckleberry, a marine convoy designed to float out the end of the civilization.
This design comes courtesy of Architect Southwest’s zombie safe house design competition (which is presently open for voting). The other design we found nifty was this whimsical spiked fortress, complete with hot air balloon and gondola escape routes.
