Last night, pranksters from CalTech dolled up the famous Alamo sculpture in Manhattan's Astor Place with the exterior of an Aperture Science Companion Cube. Here's the note they left to boot. Prediction: cosplaying public art will be the next big trend come 2012.
This Weighted Companion Cube will accompany you through the test chamber. Please take care if it. the symptoms most commonly produced by the Enrichment Center testing are superstition, perceiving inanimate objects as alive, and hallucinations. The Enrichment Center reminds you that the weighted companion cube will never threaten to stab you and, in fact, cannot speak. In the event that the Weighted Companion Cube does speak, the Enrichment Center urges you to disregard its advice.
Please note that the companion cube is neither adhered to the structure, nor permanently attached to any surface - Aperture Science brand Hook and Loop fasteners hold the companion cube together. If you desire to euthanize your companion cube prematurely, please grab at any corner and peel away for ideal results. Please note that premature euthanization of your companion cube can interfere with your ability to complete the test.
If you experience any problems with your companion cube, please assume the party escort submission position and wait for a a party associate to come to your assistance. If a party associate is not available, please email caltech.pranks@gmail.com for further assistance.
The Enrichment Center is committed to the well-being of all participants. Cake and Grief Counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all. We do what we must, because we can.
