If you’ve watched the goofy George Lucas Special Edition Star Wars: Episode VII trailer, you’ve already been exposed to director and VFX artist Michael Shanks‘ work. Here, though, we get something original from him: a comedy about a stranded astronaut who uses a time machine on a post-apocalyptic Earth.
Shanks wrote, directed, and provided many of the visual effects for Time Trap. It’s a wonderfully fun short film, one that puts a clever and funny spin on time travel tropes.
