Word that the TravelMate 240, Acer’s long-expected Tablet PC with a 14.1-inch display (the largest on a Tablet PC yet) will come out next month. One thing though: unlike earlier models, the TravelMate 240 won’t have a screen that can swivel around and fold into a writing surface. Rather to keep its price down, it’s going to be like a regular laptop, just with a touch-sensitive. Sorta takes all the fun out of it.
