Two of the funniest men in Hollywood today are teaming up to star and executive produce a new show called Ghosted. They are Adam Scott and Craig Robinson, and the show is described as a comedic version of the X-Files.
Robinson plays a notorious skeptic who teams up with a true believer (Scott) to help an agency called the Underground Investigative Service “look into the rampant ‘unexplained’ activity in Los Angeles — all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race,” according to Deadline.
The show was just picked up by Fox and has a pilot written by Tom Gormican, who did That Awkward Moment, a bad movie with a really good cast. Hopefully “awkward” describes the tone of the show, which obviously has lots of mystery and funny potential.
