It seems almost too good to be true, but iTunes will soon feature ads and other delightful material for our iPod-enabled perusal. While no specifics are mention, Ad Age is reporting that the iTunes interface will soon feature billboard ads as well as an increased number of ads embedded in podcasts and other media.

Right now, the ads will only appear "in the lower-left corner of the iTunes library while users listen to podcasts from their computers rather than from portable devices." Pretty clear-cut, it seems. After all, with all the little sub-menu iTunes store garbage that's showing up, a few ads won't kill us, right?
