Riding on a cushion of air like a hovercraft, the Airider is a bagless 1400-watt vacuum cleaner with ‘virtually weightless operation.’ Developed by a Glaswegian company (Glaswegian!) Air Rider Systems, the product will be launched in the UK in April for around $360. Best of all, since the Airider never touches the ground, it can be used on hard wood and other types of easily-scuffed floors.
