In a few years beer might not just get you drunk, it might also be powering your PDA. Researchers at Saint Louis University have figured out how to make a biofuel cell that can be recharged with just a few milliliters of alcohol, getting it to work with vodka, gin, white wine, and beer. Though the beer has to be flat since the fuel cells don’t work well with all the carbonation.
