The Wonder Woman movie is arriving a little sooner than expected. Maisie Williams says the next season of Game of Thrones sets up the show’s ending. Plus, the first set pictures from The Mummy, the return of Sherlock, and pictures from the second season premiere of Outlander. To me, my Spoilers!
Star Wars: Episode VIII
Making Star Wars is reporting that legendary voice actor and puppet master Frank Oz has been seen working on the set of the movie, leading to more rumors that he’ll reprise the role of Yoda—or more specifically, Yoda’s force ghost, during Rey’s training with Luke on Ach-to.
There’s no specific confirmation that Oz is in the movie, just that he’s working on it, so treat this as simply a rumor for now.
Wonder Woman/Untitled DC Movies/The Jungle Book (WB)
Warner Bros. has shuffled the release dates of several of its movies. Wonder Woman will now release two weeks earlier on June 2, 2017. The studio’s adaptation of The Jungle Book (not to be confused with Jon Favreau’s Disney adaptation) will now release a year later on Oct. 19, 2018, and two as-yet-untitled DC movies will release on Oct. 5, 2018, and Nov. 1, 2019. Ash vs Evil Dead
Producer Craig DiGregorio teases the second season:
Season 2 focuses on Ash going home and going back to his hometown. In that respect, you’re learning about another side, which you haven’t seen. In this season, I think you’re going to learn more about what his life was like before he went to the cabin [in The Evil Dead/Evil Dead 2]. What was his life like? Who were the people that he hung out with in high school?
Game of Thrones
Maisie Williams teases the pieces falling into place for the show’s grand finale in the coming season.
This year is so great because we’ve whittled it down. You can see the final storylines forming. We lost a lot of people last year and that makes it really exciting. There are fewer people on Arya’s list. But there’s also fewer people to fight for the throne.
