Ancient Motorola 8200 Handset

Reading time 1 minute

Archeologists excavating the remains of on old settlement in the Pacific Northwest discovered this relic lurking beneath a pile of old flannels, the Beastie Boys’ Ill Communication, and a bumper sticker reading, “K(h)urt…don’t let it end this way.” It appears to be some kind of Motorola handset, but it is extremely bulky and has a peculiar screen which can only display text, and only in black. Whatever ancient civilization made use of it was apparently composed of hobbit-like quasi-humans who had never heard of Bluetooth.

Really, though, for a decade ago, we were doing pretty good.
