Android 2.1 Update Available For Motorola Droid and Droid Eris Via Leaked ROM

Droid owners have been waiting and waiting for 2.1 to materialize, but fortunately a firmware update has leaked for both handsets. Motorola and Verizon have both promised OTA updates, but it’s anyone’s guess as to when they’ll be out—so this may just be the fastest way to get the latest Android flavor on your pocket-friend.
