Akihabara, Tokyo’s electronics district, is something of a mecca for gadget freaks. Even if you don’t intend to buy anything, it merits a pilgrimage just to catch a glimpse of all the crazy futuristic electronics that may or may not hit American shores sometime in the next few years. A few weeks ago we featured an Akihbara field report from Gizmodo pal Gabriel Meister; now WhiningDog.net has another one, with loads of pictures of what they saw on their recent trip to Japan.
