Another great, painfully in-depth Nikon D70 review, this one with a little more “old-fashioned camera geek” slant. Thom Hogan finds the D70 to be a breakthrough performer all around, with very few downsides. As for the inevitable comparison with Canon’s Digital Rebel, Thom says, “If the Digital Rebel is a crippled 10D, the D70 is an enhanced D100!” If you don’t read camera model-number speak, I can vouch that means ‘real good.’
