While Microsoft told us at Mobius 2002 that they expected Tablet PCs to be priced from the “high teens” up to $3,000, Cabin Five is offering what it calls the Rosetta Tablet PC for just $999. The Rosetta runs the Windows XP Tablet PC Edition OS (not Windows CE), have an 800MHz Transmeta processor, a 10.4″ touchscreen, 20GB hard drive, 128MB of RAM, and built-in 802.11b.
