The Vitals app surfaces overnight health data in one view each morning — heart rate, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, sleep duration, and wrist temperature — which gives a running baseline that’s useful for catching changes over time rather than just spot-checking individual readings.
Sleep tracking, of course, only works if you actually sleep with the watch on, and the Series 11’s thinner, lighter profile makes that a reasonable ask. Battery covers 24 hours of normal use, with a 15-minute fast charge delivering 8 hours — enough to work overnight, top up during a morning shower, and then run all day.
Workout Wizard
The fitness side of the Series 11 is predictably excellent: advanced workout metrics, Heart Rate Zones, Pacer, training load tracking, and three months of Apple Fitness+ included. Workout Buddy, powered by Apple Intelligence, pulls coaching context from your nearby iPhone during sessions. Fall detection and crash detection handle emergency response automatically, and Check In notifies a designated contact when you arrive at a destination safely — features that read as niche until the moment they’re not.
