It’s the first day of Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference, and MacMerc has the play-by-play of the day’s events and MacMinute has a roundup of all the new product announcements. The big news of the day, of course, is the Power Mac G5 (pictured at right), the world’s first personal computer with a 64-bit processor; Apple also claims that it’s the world’s fastest personal computer as well. Oh, and they have a new web cam for video conferencing called the iSight.
