Stephen Voss offers up the best kind of gadget review there is: a tale of real-world use. Voss recently took a trip to Thailand and Cambodia, packing along an Archos Gmini 220 (a 20GB CF and hard drive MP3 player/photo wallet) and an Apacer Disc Steno CP-200 CD burner. Interestingly, Voss chose the Gmini over the Belkin Media Reader, despite already owning an iPod, because of reports of the Belkin’s slow transfer times and (of course) poor iPod battery life. Check out his end-user review, as well as some of his excellent photos.
