At Least the Nanobot Apocalypse Has a Nice Soundtrack

The nanobots are coming, and hopefully they’ll do more harm than good. but if they do decide to destroy the world, I hope it’s even half as catchy.

Nanobots is the lead single of They Might Be Giant’s like one billionth (16th) album of the same name. While the record dropped last month, the video for the title track just showed up yesterday, and it’s a perfectly fitting video companion for the band’s odd but awesome tune. Directed by Liam Lynch (who directed The Pick of Destiny and countless other music videos), it shows one of the poppier apocalypses we’d be likely to have.
