AT&T Wireless is set to launch a new ad campaign April 18th, touting the quality of their recently-upgraded GSM network (the same upgrade that caused some confusion a few weeks back). The tagline of this campaign will be, “How many bars do you have?”, a somewhat ballsy maneuver considering how easy it will be to poke at them when service is anything but optimal (I’ve got two bars! Thanks, AT&T, you wretched assbags, etc.) This campaign will be accompanied by the new ‘GSM America plan’ which will offer voice and data service anywhere in the US with no roaming charges—a service many of AT&Ts competitors have had for a while.
The real question is, has any AT&T Wireless subscriber found their service to be better since the upgrades?
