While we’re on the topic of revisiting old technology, the mind-controlled video game from a couple of days ago isn’t quite as new as it might have seemed, either. Back in the early ’80s, Atari researched a ‘mind control’ system of their own, using a headband system to detect muscle activity in the forehead. It was of limited success, sadly, as the continual furrowing of brows (and mandatory sock-less deck shoes) caused more headaches than fun. [Thanks, Garth!]
