Artist Cliff Chiang has whipped up some perfectly awesome takes on Battle of the Planets, G-Force, and Gatchaman — for charity.
Chiang — who’s been busy wrapping up the Neil Young graphic novel, Greendale he’s illustrating for Vertigo — cooked up these awesome pieces to help benefit the College of Liberal Arts at Indiana’s Purdue University. The piece above will be part of the University’s permanent collection of Asian American art while the one below will be auctioned off to help buy Asian American study materials.
All of which is awesome — and another excuse for more of Cliff’s fine lines.
