I promise I'm not anti-science, but I don't know what good supposedly finding this particle does humankind, and therefore, I don't don't know what good the billions and billions of dollars spent over the decades has done for us.
Can anyone illuminate me as to why this matters (no pun intended)? What will come of this that will benefit mankind?
