I don’t know if Fabian Tischer—the author of this cleverly made video that mixes architecture and space—loves or hates the Berliner Fernsehturm tower. No matter what, the fact is that he decided to launch it into space.
The 365-meter high Berlin TV tower was built by the communist government of the German Democratic Republic. I don’t know if I hate it or love it myself. I like the sci-fi retro look very much, but I hate what it represents. Then again, it’s an integral part of a city I love very much, so better leave it where it is and don’t shoot it into space.
