Blockbuster has announced that they will begin offering PSP game rentals at all of their 4,400 stores on May 17. Their standard seven day rental fee of $7 will cover a single UMD, but UMD rentals will also fall within the warm cocoon of Blockbuster’s unlimited rentals plan, which will run you about $20 a month. They’ve announced that Twisted Metal, Untold Legends and Need for Speed Underground Rivals will be first on the shelves. Best of all, as Yahoo! reminds us, “if gamers need an extra day or two, Blockbuster no longer charges late fees.” You could play forever! Until you couldn’t!
