It sounds like wireless, Bluetooth iPods are a certainty, either from Motorola or Apple (or both). One of Moto’s execs let slip that iPod owners will be able to broadcast music through their car speakers via Bluetooth, as well as plug-in their phones to answer hands-free calls with all the volume management stuff that makes the Bluetooth audio/phone/stereo three-way so hot. The question is whether this is a new peripheral or a new model of iPod with Bluetooth built-in. While the latter would have a much higher slickness index, my money is on the former.
