Finally, a solution surfaces for those who require the ability to take a call on the slopes by talking into their shoulder—O’Neill Europe announced their H2 Series of snowboard gear, including a Bluetooth-enabled jacket and backpack. The jacket, we first mentioned in January, but the backpack adds solar panels for power and an in-built microphone which resides in your shoulder strap alongside your basic audio and phone controls. The backpack’s ability to control your iPod meshes nicely with its Bluetooth capabilities, pausing music when an incoming call is accepted and the like. The backpack will be available in Europe in July, with the jacket showing up later on in September.
