Veg-O-Matic, Mr. Microphone, the Miracle Broom: each household gadget stands as a model of American ingenuity. And thanks to the patriots at the Chicago Cultural Center, we will be able to reflect on these and one-hundred-and-forty-seven other products as we pace somberly through the new exhibit ‘Isn’t That Amazing!’, a showcase of the products, pitches, and yes, passions of the Popeil Brothers and Ronco companies.
The exhibit is open until May 16 and is scheduled to include — no lies — an improvisational-style comedy show and disco party.
