Either this was a big mix-up, or a very clever way of generating buzz, but what the case, yesterday Canon posted, and then quickly pulled, a press release announcing the EOS 1Ds, which at 11 megapixels will be the highest resolution professional digital camera on the market. It was meant to debut at Photokina, a photogaphy trade show in Germany, on the 24th of this month.
